SKILLBOND LTD - PRESS RELEASE

Local Property Development/Investment company Skillbond Ltd has enjoyed a successful period of lettings in the last few months despite the general very difficult economic climate.

Some of the successes are as follows:-

Artisan, High Wycombe
This 100,000 sq.ft. office building acquired by Skillbond, and after refurbishment the building is now fully let with the last major letting having recently completed to Maritz Research UK Ltd, who are relocating their Headquarters from Marlow.  This latest letting is of approximately 15,000 sq.ft.

A Director of Maritz commented – “We are delighted to be moving to Artisan, which was selected as our preferred choice after a thorough search of the office market place.  The location, specification, onsite amenities and flexible lease package offered by the Landlord all contributed to achieving this outcome.”

The agents acting on behalf of Skillbond in the transaction were Duncan & Bailey-Kennedy and Maritz were represented by Lambert Smith Hampton from Maidenhead.  Owner of Skillbond, Nick Sargent comments that he is delighted to have Artisan fully let with such major tenants including IFS, Maritz, TTI, Hansford Sensors and Encology.

Unit 14, The Valley Centre, High Wycombe
The Valley Centre totals some 160,000 sq.ft. of modern business space and is owned and managed by Skillbond Ltd.  The company have recently successfully let Unit 14, which comprises a high office content business unit providing some 17,000 sq.ft. of high quality space.  The new tenants of the building are Hyundai who will be occupying the building as their National Academy and the agents representing Skillbond in their negotiations were Duncan & Bailey-Kennedy.

Former Thames Water Site, Mill End Road, High Wycombe
Following the acquisition of this former Thames Water depot, Skillbond Ltd have successfully let the major part of the site to local Builders Merchants Grant & Stone Ltd.  The agents representing Skillbond were Duncan & Bailey-Kennedy who also represented them in the acquisition of the site.  Simon Funnell of Kennedy Funnell in Marlow represented Grant & Stone.

85 Oxford Road, High Wycombe
Skillbond are also delighted to report that their period office building at 85 Oxford Road, High Wycombe has been successfully let by their agents Duncan & Bailey-Kennedy, within days of becoming available.  This attractive office building, occupying a prominent position on Oxford Road, close to the town centre, offers some 2,100 sq.ft. of office space, and has been let on a new ten-year lease.
